CS1 CS1G/H Für jede Aufgabe geeignet: Die SPS im Baugruppenträger mit über 200 verschiedenen E/A-Baugruppen CS1 ist die umfangreichste SPS-Familie von Omron mit einer maximalen Kapazität von 5120 "lokalen" digitalen E/A-Punkten. An einen CPU-Baugruppenträger können bis zu sieben Erweiterungsbaugruppenträger und somit bis zu 80 E/A-Baugruppen angeschlossen werden. Jede Kombination der mehr als 200 zur Auswahl stehenden digitalen und analogen E/A-Baugruppen, Regelungs- und Kommunikations-Baugruppen kann in jeder gewünschten Reihenfolge installiert werden. Der reichhaltige Befehlssatz und die umfassende Funktionsblock-Bibliothek ermöglichen das Erstellen äußerst kompakter Programme, wobei Strukturierter Text (IEC 61131-3) und Kontaktplan-Programmierung beliebig gemischt werden können. Duplex-CPUs mit oder ohne Prozessregelfunktionen überprüfen einander kontinuierlich wechselseitig auf Fehler, ohne dass hierfür eine Programmierung durch den Anwender erforderlich wäre. Ein noch einfacherer Weg zur Steigerung der Systemverfügbarkeit ist die Verwendung von doppelten Spannungsversorgungsbaugruppen.
